Whether you lead students or you are one, here's where to begin.

For youth pastors & church leaders

Help your students share Jesus.

Your students already have relationships with people your church hopes to reach. Youth Alive equips students to pray, care, and share Jesus, and supports the churches and youth leaders who send them.

  1. STEP 1

    Cast vision

    Talk with students about the people God has already placed around them at school.

  2. STEP 2

    Equip a Campus Missionary

    Help a student prepare to pray, care, and share Jesus in their everyday life.

  3. STEP 3

    Take a step

    Choose a practical resource or opportunity for that student to share Jesus.

  4. STEP 4

    Follow up

    Ask one student who they're praying for. Help them choose one step they can take this week, and set a time to hear how it went.

We also equip youth leaders to cultivate missional discipleship within their youth ministries and help students take meaningful next steps.

For students

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

Jesus has already called you to be His witness. You don’t need to have all the answers or be the most outgoing person at your school. As you follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit helps you recognize opportunities, gives you courage, and empowers you to share His love and the Gospel with others.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses.” — Acts 1:8 (NLT)

  1. STEP 1

    Pray for friends

    Think of friends who need Jesus. Begin praying for them and ask the Holy Spirit to help you recognize opportunities to share His love and the Gospel.

  2. STEP 2

    Talk with your youth pastor

    Let your youth pastor or trusted church leader know you want to share Jesus. Your church is there to encourage, equip, and support you.

  3. STEP 3

    Care and share

    Look for ways to care for your friends. Ask the Holy Spirit for courage to share Jesus when opportunities arise.

  4. STEP 4

    Connect with others

    Find other students who want to pray, care, and share Jesus together. You don't have to start a club to be a Campus Missionary.
