Movements

Start or strengthen a movement at your school.

A Youth Alive Movement happens when students work together to share Jesus at school and beyond. Their churches provide discipleship, encouragement, and support. Youth Alive provides resources, training for students, and practical guidance to help that work begin and grow.

Church-fed · Student-led · Spirit-empowered

The two big wins

  1. Students hear the Gospel.

Sharing the Gospel with students and friends who haven't put their faith in Jesus.

  2. Students connect with a local church.

Helping students connect with a local church or youth group where they can continue growing as disciples.

One school. More than one church.

Students from different churches often share the same school. Multi-church and multi-denominational relationships help churches coordinate encouragement for students sharing Jesus together through a school club or another movement expression. Each church continues to disciple, equip, and send its own students.

Students share Jesus

Students pray, care for classmates, and share their faith in everyday life.

Churches equip and send

Local churches disciple their students and welcome the friends they reach.

Youth Alive supports

We equip students and support their churches with practical guidance, resources, prayer, and connections with other youth leaders.

Six ways movements take shape

School Club

An official, school-approved student club where classmates gather around Scripture, prayer, and community—and share Jesus with their school.

Huddle

An informal student gathering, not an official school club, where students pray, encourage one another, and plan ways to share Jesus with classmates.

Online Movement

Students attending online schools or active in online communities, gathering to pray and share Jesus with friends there.

Prayer Movement

Students praying together at school for their classmates, teachers, and campus—and praying with classmates who ask.

Homeschool Movement

Homeschool students sharing Jesus through their co-op, neighborhood, activities, or workplace.

College Movement

High school students who are dual-enrolled in college sharing Jesus with classmates on their college campus, with support from their church.

Already gathering? Let's connect.

Whether you’re exploring an idea or already meeting with other students, we’d love to hear what’s happening and help you take your next step. Your club does not need to adopt Youth Alive branding to receive our encouragement or support.
